Otis Slim Sundown is the alter ego of Henry Jackson – guitarist with the band Portmanteaux https://portmanteauxbandmelbourne.com/and also part of the duo Another Story. https://anotherstorysounds.com/

Otis Slim Sundown sings and plays original songs within country and blues genres.  Some are reminiscent of the message songs from the first half of the 20^th century  such as Woody Guthrie and Blind Alfred Reed but also the “funny’ blues/hokum of that same time period such as Tampa Red and Bessie Smith. Post-World War Two exponents of these are Elvin Bishop, Ry Cooder, Bob Dylan and CK Stoneking.
